Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of progressive recruiting experience in heavy civil construction, with an emphasis on recruitment of entry level and professional personnel.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Human Resources, or Business related field of study or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Ability to market and promote roles, employment opportunities, and company culture
  • Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to record and efficiently document information.
  • Understanding of OFCCP, EEO, and Affirmative Action requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Implement recruiting strategies to meet current or anticipated staffing needs.
  • Conduct full-cycle recruiting for all open positions including entry-level (campus) and experienced roles.
  • Assist with the coordination and management of on-campus branding and recruiting activities to include career fairs, information sessions, lunch and learns, class talks, etc.
  • Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, or promotion opportunities.
  • Screen, interview, and recommend qualified candidates to the hiring managers.
  • Schedule onsite interviews for all candidates.
  • Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork including on-boarding activities.
  • Partner with managers to develop specific recruiting plans.
  • Prepare or maintain employment records related to all recruitment activities (i.e. position requisitions and applicant tracking).
  • Up to 40% travel
